Location: City of Westminster

This role will involve supporting the Maternity Referrals process by registering new patients onto EPIC, booking their appointments and ultrasound scans, and jointly manning the busy Maternity appointments phone line. You will take calls from patients about appointment changes, requests, and questions, monitor and action EPIC work queues, reschedule and cancel clinics, and respond to EPIC in‑basket, secure chats, and email inbox queries.

The post holder will provide a high‑quality, comprehensive range of administrative duties, ensuring excellent customer care and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Register new patients onto EPIC and book appointments and ultrasound scans.
  • Jointly man the maternity phone tree and take patient calls regarding appointments.
  • Action maternity booking team referrals.
  • Monitor and action EPIC work queues and waiting lists.
  • Reschedule and cancel clinics as required.
  • Resolve patient queries and complaints in person, via email or telephone.
  • Liaise with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and administrators.
  • Participate in service improvement projects.
