Community Receptionists

Overview

Your role will be crucial to the smooth running of the service and you will be the first point of contact for our service users. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that all patients have a positive experience of the service. This non-judgemental role is within the Sexual Health field and involves directing patients to the correct member of our multi-disciplinary team and handling highly confidential and sensitive issues.

You will provide a professional and caring welcome to patients of all ages, including teenagers, promoting access to services for young people. You will be able to work independently using your own initiative while remaining a strong team player. You will have excellent telephone and IT skills. Training will be provided for our IT systems and in contraception and sexual health processes.

This post requires working evening shifts as well, one to two days a week.
