Overview
To work as a member of the specialist renal dietetic team at St Georges Hospital. To be responsible for providing a highly specialist dietetic service to renal patients; following evidence based practice, being an active multidisciplinary team member, educator, developing nutrition policies and guidelines, participating in audit and research related to renal services in order to improve health outcomes and develop the role and service.
Responsibilities- Work as part of the renal dietetic team within St Georges NHS Foundation Trust to provide specialist dietetic care to renal patients.
- Follow evidence based practice and be an active multidisciplinary team member.
- Educate colleagues and patients; develop nutrition policies and guidelines.
- Participate in audit and research related to renal services to improve health outcomes and develop the role and service.
- Contribute to the renal team across nephrology, pre-dialysis, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and transplant care in specialist renal ward, clinics and dialysis units.
- Experienced dietitian.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic with excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.

The department is committed to training dietetic students and actively participates in the training programs of clinical and non-clinical staff.
