Pharmacy Technician
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician working in Medicines Management, you will rotate across various specialities, including both outpatient and inpatient settings at Leaders in Oncology Care and Harley Street sites. The successful applicant will work with the Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology to run an outpatient technician-based medicines optimisation/management service and maintain the SACT e-Prescribing portfolio.
In the inpatient setting you will work with the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Cardiac and Surgical services and play a vital role within the pharmacy inpatient service and discharge planning team. You will have day-to-day responsibility for elements within medicines management/optimisation and will support training and development of trainee technicians/pharmacy assistants.
- Accredited Checking Technician
- Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy within Medicines Management
- Support and develop medicines management/optimisation services across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with Lead Pharmacists and other teams to maintain SACT e-Prescribing portfolio
- Contribute to discharge planning and inpatient pharmacy services
- Accredited Checking Technician
- Experience in hospital pharmacy with Medicines Management
