Position: Staff Nurse-Spinal - The Princess Grace Hospital
Location: City of Westminster

Overview

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Inpatients Spinal Team at the Princess Grace Hospital. You will work with supportive colleagues and Specialist Consultants, benefiting from training on up-to-date equipment and treatments to develop expertise in the field. As part of the Spinal ward, you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, supervising and directing junior and temporary staff.

You will demonstrate good clinical practice, be accountable for your actions, and contribute to clinical standards, policies and procedures and research-based care and practice development initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and direct junior staff and temporary staff.
  • Demonstrate good clinical practice and accountability for own actions.
  • Contribute to setting clinical standards, policy and procedures and research-based care and practice development initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience/Qualification in spinal specialty
  • Phlebotomy training desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)
  • Basic life support
