Sister​/Charge Nurse- IVF - Lister Hospital

As a Sister/Charge Nurse in IVF, you'll play a key role in supporting the Nursing Manager with daily operations, leading by example in patient care and ensuring compliance with HFEA standards. You'll prioritise safety through audits and risk assessments, deputise for the manager when needed, and work closely with maternity and embryology teams to provide exceptional care. This role includes rotational weekend work and weekly on-call responsibilities, so flexibility and commitment are essential.

You'll also have the chance to work alongside renowned consultants in reproductive medicine, with access to learning and development programmes including scanning and prescribing skills.

• Support the Nursing Manager with daily operations and lead by example in patient care
• Ensure compliance with HFEA standards and maintain safety through audits and risk assessments
• Deputise for the Nursing Manager when required
• Collaborate with maternity and embryology teams to provide exceptional care
• Maintain flexibility to cover rotational weekend shifts and weekly on-call duties
• Work with consultants in reproductive medicine and participate in learning and development programmes including scanning and prescribing skills

• NMC registration (Midwife or General Adult Nurse)
• Extensive IVF experience at senior level
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and compliance standards
• Ability to lead by example and support team development
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
