We are looking to recruit a staff nurse who has experience in caring for surgical patients from a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, orthopaedic, ENT, Max Fax and gynaecological care will be an asset. As part of the wider team, you will possess sound communication skills. You will require motivation and compassion in all you do with a focus on effective and safe patient care.

Successful applicants will work within our team to provide a high quality and safe patient care environment for patients with a range of acute traumatic injuries. Experience in the area of orthopaedics is desirable.

Our surgical units are supported by practice nurse facilitators, alongside a robust preceptorship and competency framework. Successful candidates will be mentored and supported in their position, with opportunities to further their academic career through orthopaedic and mentoring courses.
