Role Overview

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll work with students aged 5 to 16+ in school environments, conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and training teachers. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Play Therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and therapy for children with communication and developmental challenges
  • Deliver teacher training and support within school settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
  • Participate in ongoing training and clinical supervision
Required Skills and Experience
  • HCPC-approved degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration (or in process)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children in educational settings
Preferred
  • Experience with paediatric caseloads in schools
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary team environments
