** King Healthcare are currently assisting a private clinic based in Harley Street in their search for a Lead Clinical Trials Co-ordinator. This Clinic combines cutting edge Ophthalmic care with an active portfolio of clinical research. Their work spans advanced imaging, diagnostics and trials that bring new therapies to patients in partnership with sponsors and academic collaborators. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team pioneering the next generation of Ophthalmic care.
You’ll work directly with world-leading clinicians and researchers in a technology-rich environment that blends clinical practice and innovation.
** The Role
** Reporting into the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Leadership Team, we are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Clinical Trials Coordinator to lead the expanding clinical research programme. This is a pivotal leadership position, combining strategic oversight of our clinical trials portfolio with hands-on operational management. You will ensure excellence in start-up speed, data quality, compliance, and sponsor satisfaction across investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.
Key responsibilities of this post include programme leadership and governance, study start up and feasibility, patient recruitment strategy, operations, data and quality management, finance and leadership.
** The Candidate
** The successful candidate for this role will be an experienced Lead Clinical Trials Co-ordinator ideally within Ophthalmics although all other healthcare environments will be considered with a minimum of 5 years managing clinical trials. You will need a strong understanding of IHC-GCP and data governance alongside proficiency of database management and KPI tracking.
** Salary and Benefits
** The salary on offer for this position is circa £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience. In addition is a generous employee package consisting of private healthcare and private pension with further details to be discussed at interview.
