Work Arrangements

We are currently recruiting for a full‑time in‑person Pharmacist. Please note that remote work is not available at this time.

  • Full-time roles involve working 42.5 hours per week, including participation in a rotational weekend schedule.
    • Monday to Friday (no Weekends)
    • 12.30 to 22.00
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Collaborate with a team of Pharmacists to facilitate efficient medication dispensing
    • Foster a positive and cooperative team atmosphere
    • Assist in mentoring junior staff and trainees, helping them develop skills and confidence
    • Promptly and accurately address queries from the Pharmacy Team
    • Building and supporting an evening team
  • Patient Care
    • Perform Clinical Checks and verify that prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Evaluate the suitability of prescriptions and dispensed medications, providing patient‑centred care
    • Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed medications
    • Deliver comprehensive counselling on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence
  • Prescriber & Healthcare Professional Support
    • Respond to medical inquiries from prescribers and healthcare professionals
    • Provide guidance on drug interactions, dosing, and optimal prescribing practices
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure adherence to GPhC standards, UK regulations, and internal procedures
    • Maintain patient safety protocols throughout all pharmacy operations
  • Professional Development & Continuous Learning
    • Remain up to date on advancements in pharmacy and health
Requirements Essential Requirements
  • Must have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Must have a qualification as a Pharmacist (MPharm degree or equivalent)
  • Ideally will have a minimum of two years post‑registration experience.
    • Newly qualified pharmacists who demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care will be considered
    • Foundation Pharmacists who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will be considered, but should make their registration status clear in their application/cover letter.
