Rotational Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7

Join the Pharmacy Team at The London Clinic’s Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London (W1G 6BW
). This is a full‑time, permanent role of 37.5 hours per week, based at the NHS‑equivalent Band 7 position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive, patient‑centred clinical pharmacy service to designated wards across a variety of disciplines (renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics and reconstructive surgery).
  • Lead and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve patient experience.
  • Proactively contribute to optimal medicines usage for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in continuing service improvements in nursing areas.
  • Participate in the on‑call pharmacist roster for urgent medicines supply and medicine‑related information.
  • Provide pharmacy service during weekends and bank holidays according to an agreed roster.
Skills & Experience
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
  • Patient‑focused, proactive, dynamic – effective as the first point of contact for pharmacy services.
  • Organised and flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
