Commercial Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Evaluate commercial real estate properties, portfolios and businesses as well as market activity and future drivers of performance. This may cover a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes from leased properties (such as warehouses or offices) to operating properties (such as hotels).
• Analyse and model commercial real estate, financings and securitisations.
• Structure loans and securitisation, including determining terms & conditions and reviewing and negotiating documentation with clients.
• Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations of financing and securitisation transactions for the credit committee and other purposes.
• Engage in discussions with clients and advisers.
• Work with internal partners including onboarding, risk, legal, sales and banking.
• Involve in monitoring financings and other ad‑hoc work streams; under the Certification Regime, Citi UK regulated entities must ensure that employees working in certain roles are assessed as fit and proper to carry out their role.

• Experience in financing/banking.
• Core competencies including analytical and modelling ability, presentation preparation, due diligence and project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills.
• Self‑motivated and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to multi‑task and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and heated discussions in a calm, professional, diplomatic and focused manner.
• University degree or similar.
