Role overview

We are looking for an Accounts Clerk to Manage the day to day credit control function and to provide support for the Dealership management team

Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as an Accounts Clerk will be to:

  • Communication with the dealership's individual salespersons regarding income funds for vehicle Debtors and posting the transactions individual.
  • Processing daily direct debts.
  • Verifying and paying payments for the following types of transaction cash refunds, deposit refunds, Hire Purchase settlement, other ad-hoc payments. Responsible for checking bank details before payment.
  • Credit card refunds.
  • Managing the manual cheques books for RFL payments in the individual branches and posting the resulting transactions.
  • Posting the receipts from the following companies Motability and other finance companies.
  • Staff expenses and petty cash.
  • Managing the payments for TPS.
  • Update cashflow for future payments going out.
  • Helping the team to meet month timetable.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
