Finance Assistant

We have partnered with a specialist Lloyd's of London broker who are looking to bring on a Finance Assistant to support their ambitious and rapidly growing team. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role would suit someone with a background in bookkeeping or accounting within financial services who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping

• Supporting CFO with management accounts and FCA reporting

• Handling employee expense claims

• Reconciling bank accounts and managing client money for their MGA Appointed Representative

• Processing premiums/claims and managing month-end close

• Administering payroll and resolving cash/funding discrepancies

Requirements:

• Strong Excel and (ideally) Xero skills

• Currently working in an accounting/finance role, ideally working towards an accounting qualification

• Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills

• Fast learner, able to thrive in a dynamic environment
