Insolvency Manager

Ambition is delighted to be partnering with a Top Accountancy Practice to recruit a Manager for their Financial Services Restructuring & Insolvency team in London. They are also open to strong Assistant Managers ready to step up.

This team specialises in complex restructuring and formal insolvency appointments across the financial services sector, including e‑money firms, payment providers, insurers, brokers and consumer credit businesses. The work spans wind‑downs, trading insolvencies, investigations and financial analysis, as well as sector‑specific advisory assignments.

• High‑profile, market‑leading FS insolvency and restructuring work.

• Study support for insolvency qualifications (CPI / ICAEW Certificate) and ongoing technical development.

• Managing your own portfolio of restructuring and insolvency cases, including planning, investigations, stakeholder communication, statutory reporting and financial analysis.
• Supporting pitches, research and market initiatives across specialist FS sub‑sectors.
• At Manager level, overseeing junior team members and contributing to budgeting, billing and compliance.

• Qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA) with insolvency, restructuring or FS experience.
• Assistant Managers ready for a step‑up, or established Managers seeking a more varied FS‑focused role.
• Strong communicators who enjoy fast‑moving work and want to build deep FS sector knowledge.
