Senior Paraplanner

Working Pattern: Office-based initially (c. 3 months), then hybrid

An opportunity has arisen within a global, investment-led financial planning firm that is expanding its UK New Business function. The firm is seeking an experienced Paraplannerto join a highly analytical, advice-focused team working at thefront end of regulated adviceon complex, high-value client cases.

This is a technical, intellectually rigorous role suited to paraplanners who enjoy deep analysis, complex planning scenarios, and quality over volume.

• Analyse prospective client portfolios and financial positions
• Assess suitability across pensions, investment bonds, and tax structures
• Formulate asset allocation recommendations
• Produce detailed, high-quality suitability reports
• Review pension transfers and bond surrender suitability
• Contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing
• Support ad hoc projects aimed at improving process efficiency
• Operate within a robust T&C framework and Fit & Proper requirements

• Office-based during initial onboarding (typically around 3 months)
• Hybrid working available following successful onboarding and competency sign-off

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases
• Confident working under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Genuine interest in investment-led, high-quality financial planning
