Location:

City-based | Salary:

Career Path:
Fully Qualified Independent Financial Adviser

This is a rare opportunity for a technically capable and career-driven individual to develop into a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) within a supportive, high-performing environment.

The successful candidate will begin in a paraplanning-focused role, gaining in-depth exposure to the technical foundations of financial advice, before progressing into a client-facing advisory position within 24 months.

With structured mentoring from senior advisers and a clear development pathway, this role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career rather than simply take their next job.

The firm has a strong client base of high earners and a growing intergenerational focus, offering a steady flow of warm, high-quality opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initially, the role will focus on technical and paraplanning excellence, including:
  • Writing suitability reports and supporting multiple advisers
  • Conducting research, fund selection and product comparisons
  • Completing replacement business and technical documentation
  • Gathering client information and supporting fact-finds
  • Engaging with the next generation of existing clients (e.g. protection, mortgages)
  • Over time, the role will evolve into:
  • Client meetings and advisory responsibilities
  • Managing your own client relationships
  • Generating and converting new business with firm-provided leads
This opportunity would suit someone who is:
  • Experienced in financial services and holds the Level 4 Diploma
  • Currently working in paraplanning, technical admin or adviser support
  • Commercially minded with strong communication skills
  • Motivated, proactive and keen to progress into an adviser role
