Production Finance Coordinator

Overview

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time. The Production Finance team at Netflix is responsible for estimating and managing the production costs throughout the lifecycle of each production and provides insight and analytics to inform decision-making.

The team understands the operations of a production and guides each project through its financial workflows required for a successful launch on the service. We are looking for a coordinator to join Netflix's Production Finance team in our London office. This position will support Netflix Production Finance Managers and Associates on scripted and non-scripted projects.

• Comprehensive daily support for the Production Finance Team
• Partner with Production Finance Associates and Managers to process accounts payable, track project cash forecasting and funding, maintain multiple internal reporting tools and systems, as well as general ad hoc projects
• Facilitate communication with external partners
• General show setup, including working with payroll companies
• Inform internal cross-functional teams with project updates
• Workflow optimisation

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience in a role with similar analytical and reporting responsibilities
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and manage work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating curiosity about how our productions work, a focus on delivering accurate, timely results, and high personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise tasks based on deadlines and business needs
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving and financial analysis
• Effective communication skills, including clear written documentation and the ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external partners
• Interest in working at the intersection of entertainment and finance, and enthusiasm for learning more about how shows and films are made
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including working with formulas and large data sets
