French speaking Head of Finance

GVA Search is excited to collaborate with a fast-growing Beauty & Cosmetics company located in central London. They are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Finance who is fluent in French to oversee their financial operations and guide their financial strategy.

• Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective, working closely with the Founder and other key executive team members.
• Build financial models, analyse and prepare financial statements, and reconcile income and expenses for the Group.
• Manage all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy.
• Define investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
• Present financial results to the Board and discuss strategic plans.
• Provide leadership and direction for the finance team (4 people).

The successful candidate will have the ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and have the desire to drive improvements in the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting process. You will need to be highly numerate with an eye for detail with a professional and collaborative approach to achieve set deadlines, with a ‘roll up sleeves’ to get the job done attitude.

The ideal candidate would be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong ability to manage and motivate a high-performing finance function. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with a thorough understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles. Fluency in French is essential for this position.
