Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world’s operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.

Our Intelligence Suite transforms operating room (OR) performance, keeping teams in sync and workflows on track to maximise throughput. Simultaneously our computer vision and AI capabilities capture real-time data and detect surgical events – improving quality of data outputs. The result: ORs are optimised like never before – with predictive analytics and automated notifications ensuring patients and staff are in the right place at the right time.

Once practitioners are in the OR, our Surgical Suite enables real-time remote access and creates a secure video record of every procedure; improving training, education, and collaboration. It is an intuitive asset which helps instil a culture of continuous learning, accelerates the adoption of cutting‑edge medical devices, and enhances surgical performance across the entire global workforce – improving outcomes and saving lives.

Proximie was commercialised in 2019 and is available in over 800 facilities globally.

The Role

This is a highly strategic finance role at the heart of Proximie’s next phase of growth. The Strategic Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance sitting within the global Finance & Strategy team and work closely with the CFO, CEO, Executive team and investors, with direct exposure to help shape the company’s most critical decisions.

The role combines strong ownership of core FP&A with meaningful involvement in fundraising and corporate development. You will help facilitate and drive Proximie’s financial strategy as a Series C scale‑up, supporting short and long‑term planning, capital allocation, investor readiness, and strategic decision‑making across the business.

This is an opportunity to operate beyond traditional finance boundaries - partnering with senior leaders to translate strategy into robust financial plans, supporting investment cases, and helping drive value creation in a mission‑driven, global health technology company.

Responsibilities
  • Own company‑wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and KPI reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial insight to support decision‑making, growth initiatives, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with commercial and go‑to‑market leaders to evaluate pricing strategies, customer economics, and deal structures to support sustainable growth.
  • Own financial modelling and analysis to support fundraising activities, including integrated forecasts, scenario analysis, and investor‑ready financials.
  • Support fundraising and corporate development processes, including preparation of financial materials, financial analysis and due‑diligence.
  • Monitor and analyse the competitive and market landscape, translating insights into financial implications and inputs to strategic planning.
  • Act as a strategic FP&A partner to the Director of Finance, CFO, CEO, and functional leaders, supporting board materials and ad‑hoc strategic projects.
Required Experience & Skills
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience across strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or similar roles.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills with expert‑level Excel capability – with depth in simplifying complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance leaders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present, negotiate and influence at a senior level with a range of internal and external key stakeholders with an ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in dealing with financial and management reporting requirements and systems.
  • Experience leveraging modern financial systems and BI tools to support scalable reporting and planning.
  • Experience building and owning financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving scale‑up environment.
Desired Experience
  • Exposure to fundraising processes for venture‑backed or growth‑stage businesses
  • Strong commercial understanding of technology‑enabled or SaaS business
