Investment Banking Associate - EMEA LCM Lev Fin

Responsibilities

• Develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
• Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward.
• Identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors.
• Create and analyze financial models for financing transactions.
• Assess and analyze credit risk as the first line of defense.
• Prepare materials and present recommendations to the credit committee.
• Assist in syndicating underwritten financing to investors, requiring deep understanding of credit risk.
• Manage and support the development of junior investment professionals.

You’ll be working in the Leverage Finance team in London. Our team is responsible for originating, underwriting and syndicating debt transactions for corporate and sponsor clients, as well as working with internal partners in credit risk control in assessing risk positions. You’ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of market and strategic matters, including assessment of capital structure alternatives and financing options.

• Strong analytical and inventive thinker. Enjoy developing pitch ideas for stakeholders, clients and investors.
• Good understanding and hands‑on exposure to assessing credit risk.
• Ideally, experience working within credit risk control or leverage finance in investment banking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly.
• Ability to partner with other groups across the bank.
