Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities

• Supporting the experienced Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Analysts on the Investment Grade desk in London
• Working very closely with the Portfolio Managers to implement investment ideas into Investment Grade Credit funds
• You will support with the efficient management of the Investment Grade portfolios
• Additional complementary tasks in support of the credit desk and fixed income
• An understanding of Fixed Income

• A keen interest in and understanding of corporate earnings and accounts
• An ability to understand investment strategies in Credit
• An ability to respectfully challenge and debate issues and securities with Analyst and Portfolio Manager colleagues
• An ability to work independently, while being a strong team player
• An ability to multi-task and to manage multiple trade tickets (primary and secondary) at once
• An ability to treat data efficiently'
• Knowledge of Bloomberg
• Hard working and diligent
• Knowledge of Aladdin OMS
• Strong data skills - Python, Bloomberg Code
• Knowledge of operational workflow
