GVA Search is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing, global hospitality leader in London, who is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. This exceptional Finance Manager opportunity will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation.

KEY ROLE AND

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Budget Management:
  • Oversee the preparation and management of the company's budget.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and identify areas for cost savings.
Accounting and Reporting:
  • Supervise the accounting team of 4 and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies.
Risk Management:
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
Audit and Compliance:
  • Coordinate internal and external audit.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial legal requirements.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a finance function of 7, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Finance Manager, preferably with experience gained in either FMCG, retail or hospitality.

This role would suit an experienced Financial Manager who has previously managed cross-functional teams and has a detailed understanding of bottom-up finance systems and processes. The successful candidate will be detail orientated with exceptional organisational skills with a natural desire to streamline process and efficiencies.
