Finance & Accounts Assistant – Banking

• Initial 2–3 month temporary contract with potential to extend

• Small London-based bank

• Day rate up to £215
  , dependent on experience (via umbrella company)

• Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the London office

A small London-based bank is seeking an immediately available Finance & Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a short-term contract. This is a hands‑on role within a small team, offering broad exposure across transactional and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing accounts payable, including coding and inputting invoices

• Preparing and supporting management accounts reporting

• Reconciling the fixed asset register

• Performing general ledger expense account reconciliations

To be considered, you will need:

• Immediate availability and the ability to commute to a London office 3 days per week

• Previous accounting and finance experience within a small or lean finance team

• Experience using Sage

Desirable:

• Prior experience within financial services or banking
