The Client

Harmonic is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing DTC fashion brand that has quickly carved out a strong position in a highly competitive online market. The business is founder-led, commercially driven, and places a strong emphasis on quality, brand integrity, and sustainable long-term growth.

With a vast and growing global customer base and ambitious expansion plans, the company is looking for a Head of Finance to take ownership of the finance function, ensuring accuracy, control, and insight across all financial operations. This is a pivotal role, acting as the senior finance partner to the founders and providing the guidance, challenge, and commercial perspective needed to drive confident, data-informed decisions.

This role is perfect for a hands‑on, all‑round finance professional who thrives in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment. You will lead financial reporting, governance, and operational control, while also partnering closely with the leadership team to shape strategy, optimise profitability, and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, cost control, and overall financial performance
• Lead margin and contribution management across marketing, pricing, fulfilment, returns, and COGS
• Develop and own profitability, budget, and forecast models to guide spend allocation, scaling, and product strategy
• Provide financial insight on growth, pricing, and investment decisions
• Act as the senior finance partner to trading, growth, and product teams
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data and reporting
• Design and maintain financial controls, processes, and systems to support growth
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a high‑growth SME (fashion, fmcg, or retail)
• Strong technical grounding across management accounts, controls, and cash management
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence decisions beyond finance
• Experience partnering cross‑functionally in fast‑moving businesses
• Strong systems and process improvement capability
• Experience with COGS, inventory, or supply‑chain‑led businesses
• Exposure to international expansion or multi‑entity structures
• Prior experience building or scaling a finance function
• Shopify experience or similar e‑commerce platforms
