Assistant Fund Accountant
Location:
London City Centre
Industry: Real Estate Investment
Key Responsibilities- Assisting fund controllers with corporate entity management.
- Coordinate cash flow forecasting for clients together with the fund controllers and the asset management team
- Post journal entries into Yardi (e.g. accruals, provisions and revaluations).
- Assist fund controllers with tax compliance (including VAT reporting).
- Assist with the liquidation of entities where required including the maintenance of any deadline trackers implemented.
- Support the fund controllers on the processing of invoices through the accounts payable system up to the payment of the invoice.
- Previous experience in a similar role (Fund Accounting preferred)
- Experience with in Real Estate or other Financial Services is advantageous
- Experience using Yardi
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft (Excel, Pivot tables etc)
- Strong academics at A level & University
- Part Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
