Senior Financial Accountant

Are you an experienced financial accountant looking to take on a dynamic role in a fast-paced, international environment? We're seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team and support the financial operations of multiple global entities across the UK, USA, and Asia for an initial 12-15 month contract.

This business works on a hybrid basis of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.

This is a maternity cover position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity and strategic growth of a global advisory firm. You'll be responsible for:

• Monthly Accounts:
  End-to-end preparation for UK and USA entities, with oversight of Asian entities (including Singapore).
• Year-End Accounts & Audit:
  Leading the audit process, preparing year-end accounts and audit schedules, and liaising with external auditors.
• Regulatory Returns:
  Preparing financial data for regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strategic Projects:
  Supporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvements.

You'll report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in shaping the finance function during a period of continued business expansion.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience working in a Financial Services environment but wider professional services is also accepted.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables).
• Strong attention to detail, highly organised, and proactive.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Business Central or similar).
