Management Accountant

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 8 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be a vital player at month end, handling the whole process and your key responsibilities will be:

• Own all technical accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliations and trial balance review.
• Production of monthly management accounts and providing necessary commentary.
• Produce weekly and monthly analysis and reports for cross-departmental and company level performance.
• Performed detailed variance analysis and related investigations across a range of reporting.
• Ensure all compliance and filing obligations are met for all entities.
• Continuously improve finance processes, designing and implementing automations.
  
  Build and maintain reporting tools e.g. on sales performance, client profitability and commission tracking.
• Ensure quarterly VAT returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted on time.
• Produce debtor aging analysis and risk dashboards.

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Be actively studying ACCA or CIMA
• Strong Excel skills and use of Power BI
• Great attention to detail
• An ambitious mindset
