** Introduction
* * King Finance is accelerating a shift from data retrieval to insight, action and impact. This senior fixed‑term role leads the digital and behavioral transformation - using GenAI, Fabric/Power BI, and agentic automation to redesign how we plan, decide and partner the business. The mandate: accelerate the flow of data to financial impact.

Success will be measured through tangible impact — including a material reduction in manual reporting time, faster planning and forecasting cycles, and measurable improvements in forecast accuracy and adoption of AI-enabled decision tools.
** Role Purpose
*** Set and own the Finance digital‑transformation agenda, aligned to the Finance Strategy and FY26 “Insight → Impact” OKRs.
* Partner closely with the Finance Leadership Team (FLT), Finance Data Labs (ML), Systems and King’s AI team to create insight products and decision workflows.
* Scale modern finance tooling across the team:
Power BI & Microsoft Fabric (incl. One Lake/Datalake), Big Query, Git Hub, Python/SQL, Generative AI (ChatGPT Enterprise), Copilot, Claude Code/Flow, and agentic frameworks.
* Build the capabilities, behaviors and engagement for an agent‑assisted Finance function  - so teams spend the majority of time on forward‑looking analysis and commercial influence.

This role influences a global community of over 40 finance professionals across King. Acting as a catalyst for change, you’ll drive digital adoption and modern-finance behaviors across multiple teams and leadership levels.
** Core Responsibilities
**** 1. Transformation Strategy & Leadership
*** Define and execute a multi‑quarter roadmap; set OKRs and value cases tied to growth, margin and speed‑to‑decision.
* Partner with the VP Finance and FLT to define quarterly success metrics and ensure visibility of progress and impact to the King CFO and senior leadership across Activision Blizzard and Microsoft Gaming.
** 2. Technology & AI Enablement
*** Own the portfolio of modern‑finance tools (Fabric/Power BI, Big Query, Git Hub, Python/SQL, ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot, Claude Code/Flow) and scale proven use cases.
* Introduce agentic AI frameworks and workflow automation (e.g., Power Automate, Airflow) to streamline forecasting, reporting, and insight generation processes.
** 3. Ways of Working & Capability
*** Establish engineering‑grade practices in Finance (version control, code reviews, CI/CD for models, documentation).
* Work side-by-side with finance partners to co-develop solutions, ensuring modern-finance skills are transferred and embedded across the team.
* Run an upskilling programme so every team member can query data, build lightweight models and ship production‑grade content.
** 4. Change, Governance & Risk
*** Stand up governance for data quality, lineage, privacy and responsible AI; embed audit‑ready controls.
* Track benefits realisation (capacity unlocked, cycle‑time, forecast accuracy, adoption) and report quarterly to FLT

** You are a commercially minded leader who blends deep technical fluency (SQL, Python, BI, GenAI) with the ability to drive behavioral and digital change  can translate data into decisions, influence at executive level, and inspire modern, tech-enabled ways of working across Finance.
* Extensive experience in Finance/Analytics/Consulting/Tech with ownership of multi‑team digital transformation or AI programmes.
* Proven ability to take products from prototype to scaled adoption; fluency in SQL/Python and BI (Power BI/Fabric), plus GenAI prompt‑engineering.
