WhatYour Days Will Look Like
- Leading multi‑location teams and using your relationship‑management skills to ensure the delivery of high‑quality audit work—from planning to completion of an audit, including the review of financial statements, ensuring it meets PwC and regulatory standards.
- Building meaningful relationships and demonstrating curiosity that allows you to have insightful conversations and provide visible challenge during the audit.
- Leading the completion of complex or judgemental audit work, which includes identifying issues, analysing data, articulating findings, and drawing informed conclusions.
- Managing the financial and resource aspects of audit engagements, demonstrating a commercial approach throughout.
- Supporting your team’s technical and personal development and identifying where they may need further support; coaching effectively and communicating expectations openly.
- Must possess a Chartered Accountant / ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- Have a high level of experience with IFRS and/or UK GAAP and be highly skilled in applying international standards to auditing.
- Possess highly developed project‑management skills and a strong track record of managing larger or more complex audits to the highest standard.
- Can communicate complex or contentious audit matters clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form to colleagues and senior client stakeholders.
- Can offer considered points of view in client conversations around broader industry topics and provide knowledgeable challenge to senior clients in the context of an audit.
- Takes pride in their work and in the audit profession, shows resilience, and demonstrates dedication to self‑development, including being agile and innovative in the digital world.
