** Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) oversees the product development, distribution, marketing, and client management activities of investment offerings for the global wealth management channel. ** Position Summary
** The candidate will have a variety of responsibilities and will work in close coordination with various Ares business lines, primarily with regards to the product sales strategy and ongoing product support for existing strategies in the private wealth distribution channel.
** Primary Duties
*** Serve as a subject matter expert with the ability to present strategies and products both in-person and virtually to a wide range of audiences (investment committees, due diligence teams, advisors, bankers, end clients, conferences)
* Provide ongoing support and key real-time product, investment and market updates to sales teams working with advisors, investment teams, portfolio managers and other key stakeholders on a global basis with a focus on EMEA and APAC
* Proactively identify issues impacting the product line and recommend next steps/solutions
* Accurately and effectively position our investment solutions based on information from Asset Management, external news sources, internally run data, feedback from sales, and other sources
* Responsible for reviewing others work to ensure accuracy and message consistency
* Respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner (answer questions, provide data, etc…)
* Work across AWMS business functions including Marketing, Sales, Client Services and Private Wealth Partnerships to support product initiatives
* Market research and competitor analysis
* Respond to special requests from Senior Management
** Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*** 6-10+ years’ experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, or wealth management
* Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
* Interest and knowledge of financial markets and investment asset classes
* Desire to work in a team environment and ability to cultivate strong relationships
* Demonstrated ability to write effectively and strong communication and presentation skills
* Superior organizational skills and ability to manage junior team members
* Familiarity with markets, securities, investment strategies and the relevant regulatory framework
* Strong judgment
* Striving for excellence and driven to contribute to the company’s success
* Strong command of the full Microsoft Office suite (most notably Excel and PowerPoint)
