Hotel Security Officer

Overview

We are looking for a Security Officer who can commit to working on a 4 on 4 off basis. Candidates must be flexible as will be required to work various shifts including weekends and nights on an ad hoc basis.

• Experienced Hotel Security Officers who gained their experience in a property of a similar size, standard and complexity.
• The holder of a valid SIA License.
• Confident in de-escalation techniques, resolving issues while maintaining safety and guest experience.
• Experienced in handling challenging situations with discretion, empathy, and control.
• Responsible for handling and documenting all security incidents and/or investigations in accordance with recommended standards.
• Able to carry out administrative tasks according to Kimpton standard, including maintaining accurate logs, audits, and SOPs.
• A proactive presence throughout the hotel, particularly in the public areas when you are the patrolling officer on duty.
• Willing to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team.
• Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury, just a 2 minute walk from Russell Square tube station where the Piccadilly line runs 24hrs a day on Fridays and Saturdays.

• £32,364.80 full time salary (£15.56 per hour) plus great IHG perks
