Overview
As a Carbon Advisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting Kier's most innovative and technically advanced low carbon projects. You'll collaborate with ambitious clients to deliver key sustainability requirements including net zero carbon targets and high-level environmental assessments such as BREEAM, WELL, and LEED.
Responsibilities- Managing client sustainability targets including embodied carbon, operational carbon, and sustainability certifications such as BREEAM, WELL and LEED.
- Supporting operational teams to implement and report on low carbon solutions across scopes 1, 2 and 3.
- Building collaborative relationships with teams to drive carbon reduction at key decision stages.
- Creating informative case studies that enable best practice sharing across the business.
- Engaging with key contractors to provide guidance on sustainability targets and initiatives.
This role of Carbon Advisor is great for you if
- You understand lifecycle carbon in construction and Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
- You understand lifecycle carbon in construction and Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
- You have experience with BREEAM and WELL certifications.
- You have excellent organisational abilities and time management skills.
- You're a clear communicator who can build relationships across different teams.
- You're a problem-solver with strong analytical abilities.
- You're detail-oriented with good reporting skills.
- You're passionate about sustainability and reducing environmental impacts.
