M&E Manager - Major Residential Development The Opportunity

A leading residential developer is seeking an M&E Manager to join a flagship South East London residential scheme delivering 1,500 units across three phases.

The first phase (#removed# units) is underway, and this role is key to driving technical excellence, programme delivery, and quality across the development.

You'll report into the Project Director and work closely with the wider leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a young, dynamic team where you'll have real influence across both design and delivery.

This is a 50% technical / 50% site-based M&E position, combining early-stage design input with on-site management.

• Lead early design reviews and M&E strategy input
• Technical review of infrastructure, domestic services, and apartment systems
• Challenge consultants and architects where necessary
• Review ITPs, RAMS, and compliance documentation
• Programme monitoring and reporting
• Maintain accurate records and EDMS documentation
• Support site teams with technical solutions
• Oversee quality control processes

• Manage M&E distribution works on site
• Coordinate with Site Managers (fit-out managed by SMs)
• Monitor progress against programme
• Ensure installation quality and compliance
• Drive issue resolution and practical solutions

• Main contractor or developer background
• Strong residential M&E experience
• Comfortable with both technical design review and on-site delivery
• Knowledge of BMS systems highly desirable
• Computer literate - experience with EDMS systems
• Strong reporting, organisation, and communication skills
• Positive, enthusiastic, hands‑on attitude
• Someone confident challenging design teams and driving quality
