Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) | London or Sunbury-on-Thames (Hybrid Working)

A well-established building services engineering consultancy with multiple decades of experience delivering projects across London and the wider UK. The practice operates from offices in Greater London and the South East and provides a broad range of engineering design services.

The organisation offers multi-disciplinary expertise across building services engineering, sustainability, energy modelling, and specialist advisory services. It is committed to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions and maintains clear environmental and carbon reduction objectives within its operations.

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be expected to operate with minimal supervision, delivering projects to a high standard while supporting and mentoring junior team members.

• Preparation of electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and tender documentation as part of a project team
• Undertaking site visits for surveys, client meetings, and inspection of installation works
• Producing technical reports, meeting minutes, and related documentation
• Proficient use of design software including AutoCAD, Navisworks, DIALux, RELUX, Amtech, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services design, particularly within the commercial office sector
• Strong working knowledge of BS7671, BS9999, BS8519, BS5839, and BS5266
• Hands‑on experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, DIALux, RELUX, and Amtech
• Background within a design consultancy environment
• Experience across RIBA Stages 2-6 in sectors including - Commercial, Mixed‑use, Retail and Industrial
