We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based out of Waterloo. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within the civil engineering industry with a contractor who are continuing to expand within their core sectors, Civil Rail, Electrification and Substations.

Candidate Profile

• Degree/ HND/ HNC Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management (or working towards)
• Experience with in Civil Engineering sectors is essential, preferably within a rail environment
• Experience working on NEC forms of contract
• CSCS card required
• Eligible to live and work permanently in the UK

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the commercial team with running of various projects
• Assist with sub-contract procurement
• Managing existing sub-contractors
• Attending CVR Meetings
• Client liaison
• Monthly Reports
• Working closely with operational teams to secure best commercial result
