I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy that delivers high-quality infrastructure and development projects across the UK. They place a strong emphasis on technical excellence, quality assurance, digital engineering and staff development, creating a supportive and professional working environment.
What you will be doing as a Civil Engineering Technician- Developing and using Revit and CAD skills in line with project requirements and internal technical standards
- Preparing high-quality Revit and Civil 3D models and drawings that are clear, accurate and unambiguous
- Working closely with Engineers and Senior Technicians to deliver coordinated civil engineering designs
- Attending site to assist with surveys, inspections and construction progress reviews
- Ensuring drawings and models comply with internal procedures, technical notes and QA requirements
- Checking your own work thoroughly before submission and supporting wider QA processes
- Highlighting health and safety considerations within designs to the Project Engineer
- Managing and maintaining drawing records and ensuring timely internal and external issue of information
- Experience using Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD within a civil engineering environment
- An understanding of UK civil engineering design and drawing standards
- A methodical approach to producing and checking technical information
- The ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams
- A proactive mindset and willingness to continue developing your technical capability
- Salary: dependent on experience
- 26 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- Additional 5 days' holiday after 5 years' service
