Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 4 days per week in the London office)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Estimator to join a busy pre‑construction team based in London. This is a growth position due to an increasing workload across commercial and mission‑critical projects.

The role will focus on preparing mechanical estimates and working closely with electrical estimators, engineering and operations teams.

• Prepare mechanical take-offs and cost estimates

• Review tender documentation and identify scope, risks and opportunities

• Price mechanical building services packages (HVAC, plant, pipework, public health where applicable)

• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

• Produce tender clarifications, exclusions and assumptions

• Support tender reviews and pre‑construction meetings

• Assist with handover to project delivery teams

• Commercial projects (Shell & Core, CAT A / CAT B, refurbishments)

• Plant replacement and decarbonisation works

• Mission‑critical environments

• New build, refurb and framework projects

• Typical project values: £1m – £30m MEP

• Trimble

• Strong Excel and Word skills

• £60,000 – £80,000 basic

• Experience as a Mechanical Estimator within MEP / building services

• Commercial project experience preferred

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems

• Stable employment history

• 1st stage:
  Informal Teams interview

  Face‑to‑face interview in the London office
