Design Manager – Civil Rail £120m Project – Central London
A Tier 1 contractor is currently seeking a Design Manager to work on Network Rail projects up to the value of £120m, based out of Central London. This contractor has recently won various tenders with Network Rail and London Underground and are now looking to expand the workforce on both the operational and commercial side of the business.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Help deliver the civil rail designs
- Work alongside the Senior design manager and oversee the design team on site
- Interface with the sub contractors on site
- Take overall responsibility for technical assurance and commercial responsibility of work
- Seek and secure new work opportunities whilst growing existing relationships
Candidate Requirements
- Appropriate experience as design manager
- Appropriate experience in heavy civils and major projects
- Degree qualified (Advantageous but not required)
