As an Electrical Design Engineer within the Building Services team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical solutions across a diverse portfolio that includes:

• Commercial offices
• Luxury hotels
• Public sector buildings
• Retail environments
• High-end residential
• Smart cities & masterplans
• Sports & leisure facilities
• Cultural landmarks

This role offers the opportunity to contribute at all stages of the design process, from concept through to detailed design and construction support. Youll be working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that values creativity, precision, and sustainability.

• Design of low voltage distribution, small power, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems
• Produce detailed engineering calculations and technical drawings
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including architects, clients, and contractors
• Attend site visits and client meetings
• Ensure designs comply with current regulations and best practices
• Support junior team members and contribute to technical development

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3+ years' experience in building services design
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech)
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Chartership (or working towards) with CIBSE or IET is a plus

• Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
