BMS Project Engineer

Overview

My client is a leading BMS company in the London area, who are looking to bring on board a project engineer to work on the projects they have ongoing within the London area. As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and commissioning building management systems and associated mechanical/electrical plant in line with contract specifications.

• Designing and developing project documentation, including points lists and descriptions of operations.
• Writing BMS software and creating bespoke system graphics.
• Carrying out off-site panel inspections, software testing, and factory acceptance tests.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning BMS control panels and third-party equipment on-site.
• Attending witness testing and commissioning meetings.
• Collaborating with project managers to ensure project delivery meets technical and quality standards.
• Providing technical support to junior engineers and contributing to team development.
• Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets, and documentation.

• Strong knowledge of the BMS industry with experience in system design, engineering, and commissioning.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (ONC/HNC or above).
• Knowledge of industry standards and strong IT skills.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• CSCS card holder.
• A proactive problem solver with strong communication and time management skills.
