We are seeking graduates for our Civil teams who are adaptable and eager to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory consultancy. You will enjoy a collaborative work environment, applying your skills to a variety of clients and projects.

We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations:

  • Civil - Bridge Engineering:
    London, Bristol, Cardiff, Wrexham, Exeter, Truro, Birmingham, Manchester, Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth (Perthshire), and Belfast.
  • Civil - Aviation – Airport Planning & Advisory:
    London

Working as a Graduate in the Civil team will mean working on exciting and innovative projects across our specialist services. You can apply to work in one of our engineering teams which include bridges, airport planning and advisory, airfield engineering, maritime engineering, asset management and pavements. Each team offers hands‑on experience, early responsibility, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration on both small and large‑scale projects, supporting professional growth.

Graduates will benefit from a robust pipeline of work and strong mentorship from experienced engineers. This comprehensive and varied experience builds a solid foundation for a successful engineering career within a global industry.

Projects

  • Bridges: A9 dualling, Spellicy Design, M8 Woodside Viaducts, A5 Western Transport Corridor, Tyne Bridge refurbishment, etc.
  • Maritime Engineering:
    Barking Waste Transfer Station, Future Port Talbot, UK Ports Inspection, etc.
  • Pavement Engineering:
    Bristol Port, National Highways, MOD HS2, offshore wind assembly port, etc.
  • Airfield Engineering:
    Stansted expansion, Gatwick Pier 6 extension, Heathrow runways, etc.
  • Airport Planning & Advisory:
    Leeds Bradford Airport, Copenhagen Masterplan, Dubai World Central Phase II, etc.
Bridge Engineering

As a Graduate, you will support experienced colleagues with structural inspection, assessment, design, strengthening, repair, asset management and project management, gaining exposure to major works.

Day‑to‑day activities can include:

  • Bridge inspections using specialist access provision such as pontoons, gantries and mobile platforms.
  • Site visits and structural design & assessment.
  • Asset management – design of structural repairs.
  • Structural bridge assessment calculations.
  • Supervision of contractors and project management.
  • Business development and tendering.
Aviation – Airport Planning & Advisory

As a Graduate you will deliver high‑quality airport planning and advisory services in the UK and internationally.

Day‑to‑day activities can include:

  • Technical delivery of planning tasks, capacity analysis and terminal modelling.
  • Bid preparation and research on emerging markets.
  • Management of planning related tasks and proposal preparation.
  • Contributions to sustainable aviation and AAM/eVTOLs research.
Aviation – Airfield Engineering

As a Graduate you will assist with airfield infrastructure design and support senior engineers on large, multi‑disciplinary projects.

Day‑to‑day activities can include:

  • Support on airfield design and technical specifications.
  • Structural, pavement, drainage and water management coordination.
  • Design reviews and Civil 3D models.
  • Site visits to UK and international airfields.
Maritime Engineering

You will work on port facilities, marine infrastructure and coastal projects.

Day‑to‑day activities can include:

  • Inspection, design and rehabilitation of UK ports.
  • Concept and detail design of global port infrastructure.
  • Project deliverables: reporting, specifications, drawings.
  • Research and documentation control.
