Health & Safety Advisor - South East

• To support the development, implementation, maintenance and review of H&S strategy and policies
• To directly manage the delivery of Health and Safety services for a range of different Clients across various industries, in line with current health, safety, fire and occupational health legislation and best practice
• Site inspections and report writing
• Production of Health & Safety policies
• Production of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and CoSH Assessments
• To promote and maintain effective employee relations

• To contribute to the development of a shared vision, values and strategic priorities for the service based upon an understanding of the needs of our varied Clients.
• To support the Directors in identifying areas for service improvement, efficiency and contribute to quality improvement in all work undertaken by the company.
• To ensure performance and self-discipline contributes towards the achievement of required service standards.
• Provision of direct advice and support to Clients on Health and Safety issues for example in relation to:
  • Safety management systems
  • Safety inspections
  • Safe systems of work
• To actively promote the wide range of services the company offers.

This role will require you to undertake work activities on a Company provided laptop; you will be issued with the relevant equipment and software. The role will require a good understanding in the use of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

You will personally ensure compliance with the Companies Data Protection and computer usage codes of practice.

The majority of your time will be spent in Essex and London carrying out up to three site inspections per day for our varied client base. However the post holder will need to work flexibly, including out of hours when necessary as our Clients are located throughout the UK and Europe; therefore some international travel may be required.
