Position: Curriculum Manager: Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment
Location: City of Westminster

Overview

The Curriculum Manager for ECBE will contribute to the operational management, development and performance of all aspects of the College delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across all provision. The role will implement the College Group's quality improvement strategies for elements of the OFSTED framework and promote a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and other quality initiatives. The Curriculum Manager will develop Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies to pursue an outstanding student experience and will lead the performance management of direct reports to achieve high outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Hold a teaching qualification or equivalent
  • Have a track record of operational leadership and management in a Further Education setting
  • Have experience of supporting the development of staff, in both the vocational area and learning and teaching
  • Have experience of recruitment, induction and guidance of students
  • Have experience of contributing to effective curriculum planning, design and development
  • Have experience leading and managing staff and effective budget management
  • Have experience in leading and/or coordinating enhancements in quality in the delivery of curriculum
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a commitment to meeting the needs of the learners, employers and communities that the College serves
  • Have a strong commitment to the College's values and mission and equality and diversity for both staff and students

Salary and benefits

£47.3k - £52.4k + potential £5K supplement inc. LWA. Permanent United Colleges Group Curriculum Manager:
Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment (ECBE). Salary £47,391 - £52,468 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. In exceptional circumstances a specialist market supplement may be available subject to industrial and teaching experience up to a maximum of £5,000 in addition to the salary listed.
