Salary: 36,000 - 50,000 (MPS/UPS Inner London equivalent)

Tempest Resourcing are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist complex needs school in Lambeth
. The school supports pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and complex communication needs
.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with high levels of additional needs
.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering personalised learning to small classes of pupils with complex needs, focusing on communication, life skills, sensory learning and academic development
.

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider SEN team to ensure each pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to complex needs learners
• Create a safe, structured and engaging classroom environment
• Work towards EHCP targets and individual learning outcomes
• Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists and support staff
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies where needed
• Promote communication, independence and social development

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN / complex needs / autism / SLD / PMLD
• Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
