About the Role
Long Term Futures are looking to appoint a confident and compassionate ASD & Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in a welcoming primary school in West Kensington, Kensington & Chelsea. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs, providing consistent support to help them engage with learning and develop positive strategies for managing emotions and behaviour.

You will support children both within the classroom and through small group and 1:1 interventions, helping them access the curriculum while building confidence, independence and social skills. This role would suit someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have experience supporting children with ASD or behavioural needs and will be confident building positive relationships with pupils while maintaining clear boundaries. You will be patient, resilient and able to support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in learning.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with degrees or backgrounds in psychology, speech and language, youth work, mental health or other related fields that support work with children with additional needs.
