Year 6 Teacher

A welcoming and high-achieving Primary School in Ealing is seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach an enthusiastic cohort in Upper Key Stage 2 and play a key role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school.

The school is looking for a confident practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge and a clear understanding of SATs preparation, who can deliver engaging and structured lessons that drive progress and attainment.

• Full-time Year 6 class teacher
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Preparing pupils for end-of-Key-Stage 2 assessments (SATs)
• Monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
• Creating a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leaders

• Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
• Have a proven track record of raising attainment
• Be organised, reflective and committed to high standards
• Be dedicated to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
