Massage Tutor

Gateway Workshops is an award-winning school with over 20 years of experience, offering ITEC approved and other professional courses. We provide recognised qualifications for beginners to established therapists and run over 50 accredited courses in massage, beauty, and online training. Our small training classes ensure individual attention, and our professional team is passionate about passing on their expertise.

We are looking for an experienced massage tutor to join our team and teach in central London.

• Train small groups of up to 6 massage students in the various therapies offered.
• Maintain a full understanding and in-depth knowledge of the accredited massage courses offered by Gateway.
• Deliver Gateway accredited courses using high-quality teaching materials across our range of beauty therapy courses.
• Work efficiently to specific lesson plans while ensuring students grasp the training content.
• Communicate with students in a timely and effective manner using the provided templates.
• Adapt training techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
• Apply appropriate and fair assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Prepare the room in advance of training and remain professionally prepared.
• Ensure appropriate records are kept up to date and student registration documents are completed at the start of each session.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a therapist for each therapy you wish to teach.
• A teacher training qualification (AET or equivalent) or willingness to take our AET online course.
