SEN Teaching Assistant - Surbiton (Long-ditton)
Surbiton | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive school in Surbiton for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and committed SEN TA who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
The Role- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs
- Implementing EHCPs and individual support plans
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Proven school-based SEN experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of autism and behavioural support strategies
- Calm, patient and proactive approach
- Confident supporting children with complex needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (desirable)
- Supportive school environment
