Nursery Manager
- Annual Salary: £40k - £50k DOE

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to join our vibrant nursery in Newham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a team and oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in nursery management or senior leadership, with a strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted regulations, and safeguarding practices.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide strategic leadership and ensure the highest standards of quality assurance.
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance across the nursery.
- Lead and inspire staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents, enhancing communication and engagement.
- Manage administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the nursery.
- Ensure the environment supports children's learning and development.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 5/6 strongly preferred).
- Significant experience in nursery management or senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive quality improvements.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) qualification.
- Experience managing large teams or multiple rooms.
- Experience delivering staff training.
